Sardinia, Italy - The Emerald Coast

Ending the trip with a golden key with Olbia in Sardinia. There cohabit as two worlds, the old and the modern Sardinia. Crossing the countryside through the village of San Pantaleo may be seen an interesting and wide range of rocks carved by the winds that lead to Nurague La Prisgiona, a fortress tower very well preserved.

The Sardinia Bay is inviting to rest and watch the La Maddalena archipelago visible from there.

A tour of the Emerald Coast shows one of the most beautiful coasts of the Mediterranean and is a quiet and relaxing way to end the trip.

Lipari, Aeolian Islands, Italy - The hidden island in the Mediterranean

In the archipelago of the Aeolian Islands we can find Lipari, the largest of the Islands famous for its mythology and natural heritage.

Its picturesque streets lead us to the castle, built by the Spaniards on an ancient necropolis. Inside the castle walls lies the Cathedral, the archaeological site and museum. This has valuable collections of objects that were found on the island and going back to the pre-proto-historic period up to the Greek and Roman times.

The island of Lipari is charming , full of small streets and well cared for corners. We feel the pride of its people to preserve this little gem.

The island has enough animation and vivacity and it is impossible not to take a break to enjoy a pasta made in the moment, while we are delighted by the landscape that embraces us and invites you to stay.

Palermo, Sicily - Art and architecture in a elegant city

Situated in the middle of the Gulf, we find Palermo. It was once considered one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It was ruled by the Phoenicians, Greeks, Carthaginians, Romans, Arabs and Normans that left their mark on their famous landmarks. Palermo is the depository of a cultural complexity that lives in harmony and gives it a mysterious beauty.

The Via Libertà is one of the most important streets for its size, elegance of its shops and be
flanked by a double row of plantain trees.

The whole city has a potential and impressive historical references that require time to be appreciated. There are many monuments that could point but as you cannot do it because it would make its exhaustive description, only reference the Corso Vittorio Emanuele that lead us to the Four Canti (the intersection of the four original streets of Palermo). The four corners are four statues symbolizing the four seasons, four statues of the Spanish kings, and at the highest level, four female statues representing the four holy patron of the city and the Palazzo Reale.
